Management planning

Blackstaff Ecology has experience of producing management plans for a wide variety of clients.

Blackstaff Ecology has experience of producing management plans for a wide variety of clients (NGO’s, Private Developers and Government Departments) across a diverse range of sites (urban, upland, woodland and wetland). We have produced management plans for a small (designed) urban nature reserve, a number of extensive areas of upland bog & heath, and a complex lowland wetland with forests, lakes and reedbeds.

Attributes

Management planning requires the identification of objectives for the site and designing the prescriptions necessary to achieve the desired outcomes. Monitoring is also an important component of management planning in order to ensure that prescriptions are having the desired effect and take corrective action whenever they are not working as planned
